A Place Of Flourishing

Where do you find yourself flourishing in your life? What are the environments that foster the most fruitful flourishing for you?

We grow and develop and bear fruit in our lives in the context of place. As the saying goes, “Bloom where you are planted.”

Our environment will bring about growth and fruit in our lives—for better or for worse.

The Psalmist writes, “Those who are planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.” (Psalm 92:13, NKJV).

When we are planted in the household of God there is exponential kingdom flourishing. We grow in God, are fruitful in God, and grow in Godly maturity in the courts of God when we are rooted in the house of the Lord.

May we flourish in the house of the Lord as we proclaim with the Psalmist “One thing I have desired of the LORD, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the LORD All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the LORD, And to inquire in His temple.” (Psalm 27:4, NKJV).

In Christ alone, Robbie

A Collect For The Eighth Sunday after Trinity (Proper 12): “Almighty and everlasting God, you are always more ready to hear than we to pray, and to give more than we either desire or deserve: Pour down upon us the abundance of your mercy, forgiving us those things of which our conscience is afraid, and giving us those good things for which we are not worthy to ask, except through the merits and mediation of Jesus Christ our Savior; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.” (Book of Common Prayer, 2019).
