God’s Good Design

How has God designed you? In what ways are you unique and gifted? Do you see that God made you on purpose? Can you see God’s thoughtful and good design?

We were made by God’s good intention, purpose, and design.

The Psalmist writes, “For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.” (Psalm 139:13-14, ESV).

We were wonderfully made by God. Our entire being praises God when we consider who God is and what God has done in all he has created.

God formed every intimate and intricate detail of our lives while we were in our mother’s womb. We can worship God for the glorious work he has done.

May we praise God for who he is, because of the work he has done, and because we are fearfully and wonderfully made.

A Collect to Await Christ’s Return: “O God our King, by the resurrection of your Son Jesus Christ on the first day of the week, you conquered sin, put death to flight, and gave us the hope of everlasting life: Redeem all our days by this victory; forgive our sins, banish our fears, make us bold to praise you and to do your will; and steel us to wait for the consummation of your kingdom on the last great Day; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.” (Book of Common Prayer, 2019).
