Live Through Him

What is the source of your life? Where does life come from? Where is life found?
Life has it’s origins in God. We received life from God. We find true life and we truly live through God’s providence.
The Apostle John wrote, “In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him.” (1 John 4:9, ESV).
God loves us so much he gave us his own son so that we might live through him. Our life is found in Jesus.
May we live by God’s providence through his son Jesus who gives us true life.
A Collect for Sabbath Rest: “Almighty God, who after the creation of the world rested from all your works and sanctified a day of rest for all your creatures: Grant that we, putting away all earthly anxieties, may be duly prepared for the service of your sanctuary, and that our rest here upon earth may be a preparation for the eternal rest promised to your people in heaven; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.” (Book of Common Prayer, 2019).
