Plans
Are you a planner? Do you have plans for your future? What if your plans were replaced by God’s plans for your life?
Planning is important. It has been said, “Failing to plan is planning to fail.” While it is essential that we make plans, our plans should always yield to God’s plans.
The wisdom of the Proverbs says, “Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the LORD that will stand.” (Proverbs 19:21, ESV).
Our plans are plenteous; however, it is God’s plans that prevail in our lives.
May we make plans and plan for the purposes of God to prevail in our lives.
A Collect for Mission: “Lord Jesus Christ, you stretched out your arms of love on the hard wood of the Cross that everyone might come within the reach of your saving embrace: So clothe us in your Spirit that we, reaching forth our hands in love, may bring those who do not know you to the knowledge and love of you; for the honor of your Name. Amen.” (Book of Common Prayer, 2019).
