Replenishment

Are you weary? Are you languishing? In what ways do you need to be replenished, rested, or refreshed?

God desires to satisfy our every need and to minister to our weary souls. God will replenish us when we are weary and languishing.

God spoke through the Prophet Jeremiah, saying, “For I will satisfy the weary soul, and every languishing soul I will replenish.” (Jeremiah 31:25, ESV).

We can rest in God. We can come to God and receive satisfaction for the weariness of our soul. God will replenish us when we are languishing when we come to him.

May we find the replenishment we need in our weariness as we rest in Jesus.

A Collect for Sabbath Rest: “Almighty God, who after the creation of the world rested from all your works and sanctified a day of rest for all your creatures: Grant that we, putting away all earthly anxieties, may be duly prepared for the service of your sanctuary, and that our rest here upon earth may be a preparation for the eternal rest promised to your people in heaven; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.” (Book of Common Prayer, 2019).
