Sowing

What seeds are you sowing? What are you harvesting in life?

It has been said, “You get out what you put in.” and “You reap what you sow.”

The Apostle Paul taught the church in Corinth, saying, “The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.” (2 Corinthians 9:6, ESV).

Sowing into what you hope to harvest in life is important. When we sow abundantly, we reap abundantly.

God’s kingdom is about sowing generously for the benefit of God’s Kingdom and receiving all God has for us.

May we sow an abundance into God’s good Kingdom work, and reap an abundance of God’s Kingdom.

A Collect for the Renewal of Life: “O God, the King eternal, whose light divides the day from the night and turns the shadow of death into the morning: Drive far from us all wrong desires, incline our hearts to keep your law, and guide our feet into the way of peace; that, having done your will with cheerfulness during the day, we may, when night comes, rejoice to give you thanks; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.” (Book of Common Prayer, 2019).
