Sweet Healing Words

How do our words impact our lives? How do words influence us and those around us?

Our words matter. Grace filled words can add sweetness and healing to our soul and body.

The wisdom of the Proverbs promises, “Gracious words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the body.” (Proverbs 16:24, ESV).

The words we receive and speak can be a sweet gift of healing to us and to those we speak them to.

May we experience the sweetness and healing that gracious words bring, and may we speak gracious words to others and be instruments of God’s sweetness and healing.

A Collect for Faith: “Lord Jesus Christ, by your death you took away the sting of death: Grant to us your servants so to follow in faith where you have led the way, that we may at length fall asleep peacefully in you and wake up in your likeness; for your tender mercies’ sake. Amen.” (Book of Common Prayer, 2019).
