Trusting God

What will you say to God when you are confident he is your trustable refuge and strength?

What we say to God indicates our level of trust, safety, and security in him.

The Psalmist writes, “I will say to the LORD, ‘My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.’” (Psalm 91:2, ESV).

Confident in God’s strength and safety, the Psalmist places their complete trust in him.

May we say to the Lord everything we need to say to him as we trust in his safety and strength.

A Collect for Grace: “O Lord, our heavenly Father, almighty and everlasting God, you have brought us safely to the beginning of this day: Defend us by your mighty power, that we may not fall into sin nor run into any danger; and that, guided by your Spirit, we may do what is righteous in your sight; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.” (Book of Common Prayer, 2019).
