A Well Lit Path

How difficult is it to navigate a darkened path? In what ways is a well lit path easier to navigate? And just how illuminated is your life?

We all need light to illuminate the darkness in our fallen world and in our lives. We cannot thrive stumbling around in the darkness forever. We need God’s light and life.

Jesus spoke to those around him, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” (John 8:12, ESV).

Jesus is the light of the world. It is Jesus that illuminates the darkness of our path of life. It is Jesus who gives us his light and his life so that we do not stumble around in darkness.

May we walk in the light and the life of Jesus as we journey along the well lit path.
