Return And Be Renewed

Do you feel like you need to be renewed? Where does true renewal come from? What does renewal look like in our lives?
Life can be challenging. We are broken and live in a broken world. Because of the troubles of this life, the brokenness of those around us, and our own brokenness, we need renewal.
Luke wrote this in the book of Acts, “Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.” (Acts 3:19).
Renewal and refreshment come from God.
When we turn from our sin and brokenness, God removes all our sin and gives us the renewal and the refreshment we need.
As God promised through the Prophet Jeremiah, saying, “I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint.” (Jeremiah 31:25).
May we turn from our sin and return to God and find the refreshment and the renewal we so desperately need in this weary world.

A Collect For The Renewal Of Life: “O God, the King eternal, whose light divides the day from the night and turns the shadow of death into the morning: Drive far from us all wrong desires, incline our hearts to keep your law, and guide our feet into the way of peace; that, having done your will with cheerfulness during the day, we may, when night comes, rejoice to give you thanks; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.” (Book of Common Prayer, 2019).
