What are you seeking to do in this life? Do you seek to do good and to live?

We are all seeking something.

Rarely do we seek intentional evil or anything that would harm ourselves or someone else. Most certainly we do not seek death in our own lives or the life of another.

As lovers of God, we are called to seek good.

The Prophet Amos said, “Seek good, and not evil, that you may live; and so the Lord, the God of hosts, will be with you, as you have said.” (Amos 5:14, ESV).

We seek good, which leads us to life, because when we seek good and live, God is with us.

May we seek to live by seeking God’s good, and may we find that God is with us.

In Christ alone, Robbie

A Collect For The Renewal Of Life: “O God, the King eternal, whose light divides the day from the night and turns the shadow of death into the morning: Drive far from us all wrong desires, incline our hearts to keep your law, and guide our feet into the way of peace; that, having done your will with cheerfulness during the day, we may, when night comes, rejoice to give you thanks; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.” (Book of Common Prayer, 2019).
