Steadfast Endurance

Are you able to be steadfast in living out your faith? Are you able to endure hardships, challenges, and difficulties as you live into God’s work?

Living out our faith can have its challenges. We can encounter hardships, challenges, and difficulties as we live into God’s work and will for our life.

The Apostle Paul encouraged the church in Corinth, saying, “Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.” (1 Corinthians 15:58, ESV).

Our faithful lives and service to do the work of God is never in vain. We must be steadfast and immovable in our faith and do the work of the Lord.

May we be steadfast and endure all things to press into the work of the Lord, recognizing our labor is not in vain.

A Collect for Endurance: “Almighty God, whose most dear Son went not up to joy but first he suffered pain, and entered not into glory before he was crucified: Mercifully grant that we, walking in the way of the Cross, may find it none other than the way of life and peace; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord. Amen.” (Book of Common Prayer, 2019).
