God’s Revealing

How does God reveal himself to us?

God is always speaking. God is constantly revealing himself. God speaks and reveals himself by his Holy Spirit. God’s Spirit searches the depths—beyond our seeing or hearing, and beyond our wildest imaginings.

The Apostle Paul instructed the Corinthian church saying, “‘What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him’—these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.” (1 Corinthians 2:9-10, ESV).

God has prepared unimaginable blessing for those who love him. God reveals himself and his blessing through his Spirit. The Spirit of God searches everything, even the depths of God—revealing God.

May we encounter God through the Holy Spirit revealing the depths of God.

A Collect for Guidance: “Heavenly Father, in you we live and move and have our being: We humbly pray you so to guide and govern us by your Holy Spirit, that in all the cares and occupations of our life we may not forget you, but may remember that we are ever walking in your sight; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.” (Book of Common Prayer, 2019).
