That Everyone Would Know God

When was the last time your shared the good news of eternal life with someone? When was the last time you shared your faith with others?

As followers of Jesus, we are invited into the work of spreading the good news of everlasting life in Jesus. God desires that all people know him—the only true God.

It is God’s passion that everyone would have a relationship with him and would know him through knowing Jesus.

In John’s gospel account, Jesus prayed to his Father, saying, “And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.” (John 17:3, ESV).

Eternal life can only be found in knowing God in a relationship with Jesus.

When we share the good news of eternal life through introducing others to the one true God in Jesus Christ, we are participating in God’s grand plan for all of humanity to have everlasting life in his son Jesus.

May we be ambassadors of the good news of God’s everlasting life in Jesus, as we share the good news with all people as participants in God’s glorious plan, so that all people may know him and receive life in Jesus.

In Christ alone, Robbie

A Prayer For A Spirit Of Evangelism: “Almighty God our Savior, you desire that none should perish, and you have taught us through your Son that there is great joy in heaven over every sinner who repents: Grant that our hearts may ache for a lost and broken world. May your Holy Spirit work through our words, deeds, and prayers, that the lost may be found and the dead made alive, and that all your redeemed may rejoice around your throne; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.” (#20, Book of Common Prayer, 2019).
