The Goodness Of God
What is the goodness that you are experiencing in your life right now? What goodness are you longing for?
All goodness comes from our God of goodness. God’s very nature is good. We experience goodness through God, and the goodness that we experience is because of our God of goodness.
God spoke through the minor Prophet Nahum saying, “The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him.” (Nahum 1:7).
Our God is good and he shelters us in times of trouble and difficulty. God cares for each of us as we trust in him. God gives us the goodness that we need and are longing for.
May we experience the goodness of our good God who cares for each of as we trust in him.

A Collect For The Second Sunday After Trinity (Proper 6): “O Lord, from whom all good proceeds: Grant us the inspiration of your Holy Spirit, that we may always think those things that are good, and by your merciful guidance may accomplish the same; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.” (Book of Common Prayer, 2019).
