God’s Peace

Are you experiencing restless anxiety, trouble, and fear in your life? Do you need God’s peace and provision in the face of your anxious fear?

In a broken and frenetic world filled with fear, anxiety, and hardship, we could use the peace of God in our lives and in our world.

In John’s Gospel account, Jesus assured his disciples of his providence of peace, saying, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.” (John 14:27, ESV).

Jesus leaves us his peace in the face of life’s restless sorrow, anxieties, and difficulties.

With God’s promised and present peace, may we guard our hearts from being troubled and from fear as we rest in the peace of Jesus.

In Christ alone, Robbie

A Collect For Peace: “O God, the source of all holy desires, all good counsels, and all just works: Give to your servants that peace which the world cannot give, that our hearts may be set to obey your commandments, and that we, being defended from the fear of our enemies, may pass our time in rest and quietness; through the merits of Jesus Christ our Savior. Amen.” (Book of Common Prayer, 2019).
