Who to Call

Who do you know you can call in a moment of your greatest need or desperation?

When we are in trouble, we need people we can reach out to. We need help in our time of need.

When we are in need of salvation, we must call on the name of the Lord.

In his letter to the Romans, the Apostle Paul instructed the Roman church, saying, “For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (Romans 10:13, ESV).

If we call upon God, he will save us.

May we call on the name of the Lord and be saved.

A Collect for Mission: “Lord Jesus Christ, you stretched out your arms of love on the hard wood of the Cross that everyone might come within the reach of your saving embrace: So clothe us in your Spirit that we, reaching forth our hands in love, may bring those who do not know you to the knowledge and love of you; for the honor of your Name. Amen.” (Book of Common Prayer, 2019).
