A Little Faith
How big is your faith? Have you ever struggled to have faith? How much faith in God is impactful for us and for our world?
A little faith goes a long way.
It may be true that we have more faith than we realize in our little faith.
If we are lacking in faith, we can seek God in prayer and ask God to increase our faith.
Our seeking God for faith is an act of faith. This little act of faith can uproot and plant.
In the gospel of Luke, “The apostles said to the Lord, ‘Increase our faith!’ And the Lord said, ‘If you had faith like a grain of mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.” (Luke 17:5-6, ESV).
A mustard seed is the smallest of seed. A mustard-seed-sized-faith is the smallest expression of faith, which accomplishes monumental miraculous movements of God.
A little faith cultivates kingdom flourishing.
May we act upon our little faith and witness our big God do miraculous movements in our lives and in this world for his purposes.

A Prayer For Seeking God, by Anselm of Canterbury: “Teach me to seek you, and as I seek you, show yourself to me; for I cannot seek you unless you show me how, and I will never find you unless you show yourself to me. Let me seek you by desiring you, and desire you by seeking you; let me find you by loving you, and love you in finding you. Amen.” (#89., Book of Common Prayer, 2019).
